Michael Clark lived in the house The Legend of Mildred Wells (formerly The Patience of a Dead Man) is based. The bats of the barn circled the rafters all day, and there was a man-made grove hidden in the forest. He now lives in Massachusetts with his wife, Josi, and his dog Bubba.

The Patience of a Dead Man, Dead Woman Scorned, and Anger is an Acid were his first three novels, and although they’re out of print, they’ll return in one volume as The Legend of Mildred Wells in the near future from Brigids Gate Press.

Hell on High is a standalone adventure horror novel set on Mount Everest and is available now from Brigids Gate Press.
